Otherwise, for US citizens or for alien residents of the united states, they should apply for a passport and visit the port of exit through the port of entry.

Otherwise, you will not be allowed to travel to the united states or to work in the labor-intensive labor market. However, you can visit the USA by getting an indirect or permanent resident visa. However, you will have to apply for the visa well in advance to avoid any kind of visa delays.
